Walk for Cancer

Each year SMA’s junior and senior students participate in two separate Walks for Cancer. The Walks are community building activities that raise awareness about cancer and funds. Proceeds from the junior Walk benefit Profyle www.profyle.ca and funds from the senior Walk go to CancerCare Manitoba www.cancercarefdn.mb.ca. The Walks are mandatory events, attendance is required. Students in Grades 9 to 12 will be allowed to have their cell phones with them; however, we encourage students to fully participate in the day and use their phones only when absolutely necessary.
