On Friday, March 21, our Green Team will observe World Water Day (officially recognized on March 22) with a special focus on the 2025 theme: Glacier Preservation. Water is a sacred and life-giving resource, and the day will begin with a prayer reflecting on its importance in sustaining life.
At 12:35 PM, the Green Team will be outside the cafeteria raising awareness about a Corporate Stand of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM), which recognizes water as a human right and a public good. Aligning with this, the SNJM oppose the sale and use of bottled water due to its environmental and social impact. Students who bring a reusable water bottle will receive a drink crystal as a token of appreciation for making sustainable choices.
This initiative is an opportunity for students to learn the importance of preserving glaciers and protecting water for future generations.
