During the afternoon of Friday, March 6, all grade 10 students will participate in our Career Speaker initiative, which is part of our Career and Mentorship program. Grade 10 students will hear presentations about careers and have opportunities to ask questions. Alumnae presenters include:

Lauren Hayhurst ’07 is the Fish Research Biologist at the International Institute for Sustainable Development Experimental Lakes Area. She conducts long‑term, non‑lethal fish monitoring on lakes involved in studies of climate change. She holds an Environmental studies degree from the University of Manitoba (2014) and an MSc in Biology from Lakehead University (2018).

Ellen Enns ’10 is a Registered Professional Planner with the Canadian Institute of Planners. She earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of City Planning from the University of Manitoba. She manages the Community Planning Service Office in Steinbach and has over eight years of professional planning experience.
