Parent volunteers are an integral part of St. Mary's Academy. The Parents’ Guild relies on volunteers to run all activities and events. Your commitment — small or large — makes a difference.

Our range of volunteer opportunities means we'll find roles to fit your talents and availability. Whether you prefer roles with set times and tasks, or want to get involved in a particular event, we welcome your participation.

International Day

The Corner Store is located in our cafeteria, where we sell candy, ice cream and trendy SMA-branded clothing. Our dedicated team of parent volunteers runs the store during lunch hours and hosts exciting evening/weekend sales throughout the year.

Parents interested and willing to assist with parking during SMA events, please sign up using this link. While the dates of the events are provided, please note that the timing may have slight changes.

If you think you might be available, we encourage you to sign up, and you will be contacted closer to the event to confirm the details.

International Day is a cherished tradition that unites the SMA community in celebrating our diversity and culture. Join us on Sunday, April 27, 2025, as we come together for this exciting event, reminiscent of a mini Folkorama. Not only is International Day a wonderful celebration, but it also serves as the primary fundraiser for the Parent's Guild, allowing us to support numerous extra-curricular activities, as well as provide essential school supplies and equipment for our girls.

To ensure the success of this event, we rely on the dedication of numerous volunteers. We have various opportunities available before, during, and after the event, with most roles requiring only a few hours of your time.
