The SMA flag football team offers a year-round opportunity for students in Grades 9–12 to develop their skills, compete, and enjoy the dynamic, fast-paced nature of the sport. Participating in both Football Manitoba's Flag Football League and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers High School Girls Flag Football Division, the team competes across three seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring, ensuring continuous opportunities for growth and play.
The team welcomes juniors (Grades 7 and 8) to join practices and training sessions to learn the fundamentals, build their skills, and be part of the team environment. However, as games are played within the high school age group, juniors are unable to participate in official competition.
The SMA flag football program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development, fostering a supportive atmosphere where athletes can excel both on and off the field.
